What is different about the 902 8T from the 8B? Altec literature lists both as having a frequency response of 500 to 20,000. Is it just the loading cap or did they use something other than the aluminum diaphram?

Todd W. White states in "Loading caps and 902 sonics questions" that loading caps came on 808, 908 and 902 Ts. I have a 902 from a Model 14 that only had a loading cap on the back (no cover). I have been told the Model 14 used the 902 8B.
